Throughout this semester-long project, I delved into the intricate relationship between art and science. Initially centered around themes like Big Pharma, drug advertisements, and their comparison with herbalism and Eastern medicinal practices, my focus gradually shifted towards examining the parallels between art and science. Humanity’s perpetual quest to comprehend and interpret the world around us forms the core of this exploration. When art and science converge harmoniously, they possess the remarkable ability to offer fresh perspectives and challenge our fundamental truths. Although art and science often adopt divergent approaches, their intersection fosters a more nuanced understanding of the human condition and the universe we inhabit. This dynamic interplay has the capacity to ignite innovation and drive progress across both domains. Through the creation of a flipbook, I juxtaposed medicinal and herbal concepts alongside artistic imagery, inviting viewers to engage in an interactive exploration of contrasting ideas.
